Welcome to The 2 Ridges Basketball League - serving 4th thru 8th graders living in the Stone Hill, Eagle Ridge and Belmont Ridge Middle School boundaries, as well as 9-12 graders in the Briar Woods and Stone Bridge High School boundaries.

George Mason University has announced they will be offering their very first Spring Junior Patriots League for Boys Grades 1-8.  For details, open the following GMU flyer.   The inaugural T2RBL March Madness Tournament is getting ready to kickoff (with Practices March 15-18, Games March 19-21).   For rules and the complete game schedule, open the following Rules and Game schedule and for the practices, open the Practice schedule.   The Washington Wizards have a special offer for T2RBL players and their families.  Players receive one free Wizards ticket and their family and friends are eligible for additional tickets at a discounted price.  Open the following linked Wizards flyer for details.   A few things about playoffs - The lower seed is the AWAY team and wears the dark jersey   Same rules as the regular season apply   Substitution of players occurs at the closest dead ball to the 3 minute mark - have your players at the table at the 3:20 point in a quarter   Please watch your behavior toward officials - any technical foul during the playoffs means the player/coach is suspended for the remainder of the year.  NOTE - there is NO house league practices the week of March 1-6. Those that make the championship games on Saturday March 13th, will have one practice the week of March 8-12th. That schedule is still in the process of being finalized. March Schedule of Games (March 1-21) T2RBL magnets are available for purchase (See sample image to the right).  These magnets are great for keeping all the basketball papers firmly in place on your refrigerator!! They are $3.00 each and the league coaches can get you set up.   Please join us in extending a special congratulations to our scholarship winners.   From Stone Bridge H.S., Megan Weber and Jonathan Grinkley and from Briar Woods H.S., "Addie" Schafer and Jordan Estrada.   Each student received a scholarship for $500.   News from the Commissioner:  The following Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services letter was received from the Department of Parks and Recreation regarding potential cost increases as a result of the county's budget problems. There is a very strong chance that the "Tier 1" reductions will be approved, which will result in a $10 cost per player in our league NEXT YEAR. Understand, this will apply to all sports leagues that your children play in, not just basketball. Please note the public hearing dates listed in the letter and let your elected officials know your feelings about this. Should this go through, the $10 charge will be rolled into your registration fee. Hopefully, things will not come to that, but you need to let the powers to be know your feelings. Thanks. Steven C.
